About ISA
Who we are
ISA is short for International Students Association at the University of West Alabama. It is a student organization with over 20 students that primarily represents and defends the interests of international students.
The International Student Association helps to create a bridge between international students and American students at the University of West Alabama by increasing cross-cultural awareness. The ISA also seeks to help accommodate international students to the UWA culture and to provide for a comfortable atmosphere.
The ISA at UWA is a student led organization that works for and with international students. However, ISA is open for everyone interested in international education, different nations and cultural backgrounds. Everyone is welcome to become a member of ISA.

ISA plays a vibrant role in students' social lives by being the platform for international students and by organizing events throughout the year - these events give students a chance to discover different cultures from all around the world.
What we do
If you want to meet new people and become a part of international community, the ISA is the right place. To enrich students' life on campus with multinational experiences and
friendship, we provide great social activities for International and American students. The last cultural get-togethers, like Global Expo, Thanksgiving with Lion Club's Members, International Christmas Dinner, International Food Tasting, were amazing. We also have many activities for everyone, such as barbeques and more.
